We’ve got just a bit of swell-tickle on the buoy: surf is in the knee range. Thick clouds and onshore winds are good precursors of waves.
Report this morning from Pine Knoll Shores public access K, located on the far west end of PKS. The parking is free and is located right under the water tower (on North side of highway) There are not public bathrooms here and ADA access ends at the end of the walkway which overlooks the ocean. It’s worth the short walk that weaves through the Maritime forest and from time to time there is a wave here that’s off the beaten path. Another good spot that’s exposed to a variety of swells and can handle NE winds.
