Indian Beach: no swell this morning and pretty much flat conditions.
You would never know that there was once Emerald isle’s 8th fishing pier here, one of the “Twins” (EI pier was the other Twin). There is now a small public access which holds about a dozen cars. Though not like the heydays when there was a good mix of the surf crews from AB and EI, this can still be a good go-to spot as you can capitalize on size and conditions w/a NE wind and E/SE swell as the beach bends slightly out to sea to the east and west. Thankful that there is a public access here.
