Deer Horn Dunes: the E/SE swell has diminished slightly but there are still rideable waves threatening the waist range. The easterly component of the wind and the early morning high tide have it less than pristine but you can find a wave if you want to surf.
Starting out at the reliable checkpoint and it looks like another day that could see improvement w/the dropping tide and more North in the wind; if you’re on the west end of the beach, sit tight and let the waves come to you.
