CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Saturday, June 9, 2012) – The Volcom Fiji Pro, Event No. 4 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, has been called back on this morning with Round 3 commencing at 8:30am in pumping four-to-six-foot (1.5 – 2 metre) surf at the secondary venue of Restaurants.

“The wind has swung more South today and has created a sideshore effect at Cloudbreak but a groomed offshore for Restaurants,” Matt Wilson, Volcom Fiji Pro Event Director, said. “We have great waves on offer this morning and will commence Round 3 of competition at 8:30am. Good luck to all our competitors today.”

Up first this morning will be Taj Burrow (AUS), 34, up against Bede Durbidge (AUS), 29, up against in the opening heat of Round 3.

The Volcom Fiji Pro will be webcast LIVE via www.volcom.com/fijipro as well as broadcast LIVE on FUEL TV in Australia.

  • No Logos = Flat or Really Bad. Pretty much unrideable! A good time to get other things done.
  • 1 Logo = Rideable but not good form. Might not be worth the time or effort but there could be a few okay waves.
  • 2 Logos = Could be fun. Rideable and a few okay waves to be ridden.
  • 3 Logos = Fun! Better than the average day. Worth paddling out depending on the surface conditions.
  • 4 Logos = Really fun. Paddle out if you can. One of the better days of the year.
  • 5 Logos = Rare Epic or All Time conditions. Quitting work or skipping school is an option but not encouraged. Why are you still reading the report! Paddle out now!
